Your Questions, Answered
How long do sessions last and how often will we meet?
I offer weekly 50-minute sessions.
Will we meet in person or online?
At present, I conduct all therapy sessions via a secure online platform.
How long will I be in therapy?
Treatment length depends on the presenting concerns you bring to therapy. For some, short -term therapy offers relief from acute distress and is a space to address specific goals. For others, long-term therapy helps to maintain a baseline of mental health. We will check in regularly to assess treatment progress.
How do I know if you are the right fit?
Therapy is a deeply personal process, and the fit between therapist and client matters. I offer a free 15-minute consultation call so you can get a feel for my style and ask any questions before committing.
How much do sessions cost?
My fees reflect my experience, training, and the personal care I offer each client. Individual therapy sessions are $150, and couples/family sessions are $175. I reserve a small number of sliding-scale slots.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill–a receipt with all the necessary information for you to request reimbursement from your insurance company.
If you’d like to use your out-of-network benefits, here’s how it typically works:
Check your coverage.
Call your insurance company and ask:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health therapy?
What percentage of each session is reimbursed?
Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Attend sessions and pay directly.
You pay for each session at the time of service.
Submit your superbill
Each month (or upon request), I’ll provide a superbill that includes all necessary information. You can then submit it to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement.
Receive reimbursement
If eligible, your insurance company will send reimbursement directly to you.*Please note: Reimbursement amounts vary depending on your plan and deductible.
