A Bit of My Story

I came to therapy by way of writing. Raised in a multicultural home in the Bay Area, I learned early on to value language, story, and the complexity of human experience.

I went on to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing and later worked in academia, where I explored how narrative and storytelling help us make sense of who we are and how we connect with the world around us.

These threads—curiosity, creativity, and connection—continue to inform my work as a therapist today.

My Approach

I combine a warm and direct approach with evidence-based practices (and a splash of humor) to help you unpack, examine, and rewrite the narratives in your life.

Drawing from modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, we will work to align your thoughts and actions with your values so that you can lead the life you want.

I view relationships and identity development through the lens of attachment theory with the goal of helping you draw clear connections from the past to the present and into an expansive and joyful future.

Therapy works best when you feel both supported and challenged. Our work together will aim to help you build lasting tools, deepen self-awareness, and create real alignment between how you want to live and how you actually live.

As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#144237) I work under the clinical supervision of Erika Morris, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#120118).
